Sunday, March 8th: Seven Cruisers ran in the Harry’s Spring Run Off today in very nice weather (what happened???). Congratulations to Ken, who won a gift certificate for his age group finish! It was a perfect morning for a run, the scenery was great, the runners upbeat and the race well organized. We got a hat when we crossed the finish line. After the run, we met at the Cactus Club for lunch, then Christina, Larry and I visited Sharon and Rob. Larry gave Sharon his hat and Sharon gave us chocolate cake and ice cream. Mmmmmmm….. Good job, Sharon. We had a nice visit with the Kellys, then, as the snow was coming down fast and furious, the three went home. A great way to spend a Sunday.
We saw Ryan, Carla, Howie and Kathy at Cameron before we left. They were hard at work cultivating new runners. We missed Adele at this year’s run.
