C-A Edie reported she had a great time, enjoyed many attractions in Paris, including Tina Turner, 70 years old, on stage where she wowed her audience. Edie presented Rod and the undersigned with gifts from neighbouring Belgium; no, not Belgian lace or Belgian chocolate, or even a picture of the legendary detective M. Poirot, but twin Belgian blondes, named Leffe from Brussels; full-bodied but compact, 6.6% alcohol by volume, a golden liquid, queen of beer, not at all like that (phooey) Budweiser. Bob’s blonde was enjoyed to the full with his dinner of chicken, potatoes, vegetables and gravy Monday at home apres the run.
