Six Cruisers: Larry, Libby, Stormin’ Norman, Rodluongo, Susan and Bobtheolder chap welcomed Rick Davison of the Telus H2H group, on a rainy and cold Saturday morning. Susan ran with the group as far as the IGA corner from where she ran to her home in Montecito. The others broke into pace groups to do the distance from the Centre through to Beta Avenue and Francis Street via Eastlake, Broadway, Greystone to Duthie, to Westridge School, Burnaby North SS, the rink, and on to Beta Avenue. Norman’s time, 1.55 from which he continued to complete 25 km; Larry and Rick, 2.22, Rod, who ran well, 2.30, and Libby and Bob, 2.35. Some icy spots were noted on the asphalt path alongside the golf course near the IGA corner. It was a pleasure to have Rick with us; he is welcome to run with us any time. Rick is training for the big Sur in northern California.
