Norman at Hayward Field in Oregon
On Monday 6:30 six Cruisers met at the Centre for a walk, some still stiff from the Half. Edie withher two canine cruisettes, Larry, Rod, Shiraz, Tracy and Bobtoc walked the Stoney Creek trail to North Road, headed north, turned east at the first street, continued to meet Chapman Avenue, then turned west on Chapman and retraced the steps on North Road then the Creek trail back to the Centre. Time or distance not measured. Alex Lau met the sextet after the run at the Centre; felt too sore to join the walkers.
Four Cruisers met Saturday am for a 9.8 run from the Centre to the north trail of Burnaby Lake, out half an hour then return to the Centre. The four: Edie, Alex, Rod and Bobtoc opted to walk back since Bob developed a painful muscle on the left rear leg, a bit high to be an Achilles problem, making total time out 1:34. On Sunday, today, Debra Nicol and Laurie Brookbank did the triathlon at Jericho.
