Monday run:
Alex, RA Edie, Laura, Rene, Val and Bobtoc met and ran from the Centre on a cool, dry, autumn evening. The six ran west on Eastlake to Underhill and Broadway. The first four continued west on Broadway, Greystone to Shellmont, turned east, ran to Meadowood into the subdivision and emerged on Broadway for the run back to the Centre. Time and distance, 60 to 66 minutes, 8 km. Val and Bobtoc returned to the Centre from Underhill and Broadway; time 45 minutes.
Wednesday’s run/walk:
Nine Cruisers welcomed Shiraz’s brother Feroz, visiting from Cape Town. The ten moved west, some to go as far as the IGA corner before returning. Let’s see if I have this correct: Tracy, Adele and Bobtoc walked/ran to Broadway and Underhill, dropped Adele off for her return home. Time for Tracy and Bobtoc 48 minutes; Laura, Minnesota Rachel and Libby ran to Shellmont before returning; time 1:09, 7 km; Rod, Larry, Shiraz and
Feroz ran to IGA and return, distance 9.5 km, time for Rod and Larry 1:16, for Shiraz and Ferox, 1:22. All ten enjoyed a mild autumn evening.
Three Cruisers: Alex, Verna and Bobtoc ran/walked to Tim Horton’s for a strategy meeting, topic
accountancy, then ran/walked back to the Centre. Distance 1.2 km, time, over an hour. The trio endured rain on the eastward part of the run, and, on the way back, burdened by coffee, enjoyed some sunshine.
