On Monday  RA Edie, Sherian and Bobtoc ran only 36 minutes Monday night, their route being the Stoney Creek trail to North Road, south on North to Mountview Street, west to the Lyndhurst Elementary School grounds, south to Willoughby Ave to return to Cameron Centre.  The weather was clear, hot and muggy not conducive to do any more!

On Wednesday, RA Edie, Libby and Larry actually did some running and some walking, and did a slightly different route.  We went along the Stoney Creek trail, turned left and took the trail that leads to Stoney Creek Elementary, crossed the street at Beaverbrook Crescent, went up to the Gaglardi overpass, up Forest Grove to Underhill, then turned right and went up to the trail behind Forest Grove Elementary, down Forest Grove, across the overpass, and back to the Centre.  Time out was 1 hour 23 minutes or so, distance 7.5ish km.  And the weather was great again – less humid than Monday, but bright and sunshiny.   Rod and Bobtoc were on official leave status.

Results of Peach City 10K and Half Marathon, Sunday May 20, 2012, in fabulous Penticton, BC – cloudy but mild – no rain! –  fairly level running route, hill at the end.   Start at Skaha Lake Park, run along South Main St., cross over to Skaha Lake Road, turnback to Skaha Lake Park.   Skaha Lake water was a bit cold to enter.  The hotels and motels mostly had vacancies and the city was not busy.  Nice for those that were there, but not great for the Penticton economy.    Another successful Cruiser road trip, thanks to RATS (Edie) for the arrangements!
