Eight Cruises met Saturday am for a run west from the Centre. The eight: Alex, RA Edie, Larry, Laura, Laurie, Rene, Rod and Bobtoc ran to the IGA corner where Rene left the group to continue his own run in the golf course area before returning to the Centre. The remaining seven ran to Kensington Arena and return. Bobtoc and Alex ran the return run together, Alex running shotgun for Bobtoc. The five speedier runners completed the 16 km run in 2:08, and Alex and Bobtoc in 2:25. Alex and Bobtoc were pleased to be greeted by Damien, son of Val and Rich, who brought Dad Rich to the playground at Cameron Centre. What a happy kid! So was Rich!
