Edie, Rachel, Larry, Rene, Libby and Bobtoc ran or walked from Cameron Centre Wednesday, the route being the Forest Grove backwards.  Edie and Rachel walked the route to Underhill then return via Eastlake and Beaverbrook, time 1:15.  Larry and Rene ran the same route, time 51 minutes; Libby and Bobtoc ran from Underhill and Forest Grove Drive down Shellmont to Greystone, Broadway, Underhill, Eastlake and Beaverbrook back to the Centre, time 1:18, distance about 9.5 km.  The six enjoyed a cool but dry run.

On Saturday morning RA Edie, Rachel, Alex and Bobtoc, with Laura catching up to the runners later, walked or ran west to Eastlake.  RA Edie and Rachel walked to Underhill and Broaday before their return to the Centre.  Alex and Bobtoc ran to Eastlake, Arden and Greystone to Meadowood in the Forest Hills subdivision west on Shellmont, back to Arden, Eastlake etal back to the Centre, accompanied by Laura who met them on near the Shellmont-Greystone intersection.  The five endured rain and relatively mild temperature.  Time and distance for the walkers,  about an hour, 4.5 km,  for the runners, 1:18,  9 km.
Before the foursome left the Centre they met Debra Nicol, resplendent in costume,  preparing her spinning room for Hallowe’en with scary stuff for the benefit of the spinning classes.  Nice touch, Deb!  The classes must have had great fun.  See Edie’s blog for photos of Debra.
