Rod ran his first run since August 26th Monday on a relatively mind rainless evening, accompanied by Cruisers Alex who along with Rod was in shorts, Edie with canine April, Laura, Sherian and Bobtoc.  The route for the six was Forest Grove Drive backwards, using the pedestrian overpass, west on F. G. to Underhill, south to Eastlake, east back to the Centre; you know the rest.  The six arrived back just before a light rain commenced.  A soft landing for Rod after two weeks in Hawaii. Reality BITES! Time and distance, 1:05 and 6.8 respectively.

Five Cruisers turned out Wednesday on a soggy evening for run/walks.  The five set out together,  headed due west.  Larry was the lone walker.  His walked to Underhill and Eastlake and return.  The four runners:  RA Edie, Libby, Rod and Bobtoc ran west to Underhill, north to Forest Grove Drive, east to the pedestrian overpass, down Beaverbrook to to return to the Centre.  The rain eased almost to nothing when the Centre was reached.  Time and distance for Larry,  about 58 minutes, close to 6 km; for the others, 59 minutes and change, 6.7 km.

Friday run by Jennel:

Eight Cruisers turned out at the Centre Saturday on a 4oC overcast morning, perfect for our run/walks, the best morning of the year.   Larry and Rod opted to walk, and Alex, Edie, Laura, Laurie, Sherian and Bobtoc ran.  All eight walked to North Road and Ebert Avenue, heading east.  Larry and Rod walked a total of 6 km, completing their return walk in time of  1:15 .  The runners ran to the Mundy Park  playground area, their route being Ebert Ave to Robinson St north onto Foster Ave to Gatensbury, north to Regan Ave through to Wilmot St and Hillcrest St, then west onto Winslow Ave, to Blue Mountain St, north to Foster Ave, continuing  west to Robinson St, south on Robinson St to Accacia St and Appian Way, west to Whiting St to a right of way between apartment buildings on North Road and Cameron Street to return west to the Centre.  Time, 1.50, distance 12 km.  The eight enjoyed the quiet residential streets and light trafffic on this Coquitlam route.  We will use this route again.
