Rod, Aprilthecanine and I walked the Forest Grove loop frontwards in about 1:30.  It was quite cool with some rain spatters.  We talked about going to Kauai for the next running event!  You know, that place where they have beaches, palm trees and you don’t have to wear long johns when you go out?   Edie

After a LONG day with many toddlers, I went for a much needed run!  Had a great 1 hour run around my area up & down some hills, then made my way to the track as their were too many silly drivers on the road!!!  Ran around 2 baseball teams and dodged a few flyballs!  Fun times, good run:)

Having been away to Penticton and another point east, I am out of the loop re: Cruiser activities.  Edie

through information from Debra has provided some info re: the Peach City half Sunday May 19th, including Debra and Larry’s athletic support provided by their biking along the route, jollying up the water table volunteers as well as the oldest athlete in the half marathon.  They were fabulous, for which I thank them, plus, the weekend that was so pleasurable with Bobtoc’s bride, Debra and her squeeze Chris, and of course Larry,  Can’t wait for next year’s Victoria Day weekend!  Sobering info however; not sure why, but the number of runners this year as well as 2011 was small, making the runs uneconomical to say the least.  Peach City Runners are thinking of some innovations to bring the runner numbers up.  I hope, I hope, that the traditional Victoria Day runs will continue and as well will be financially successful.

Jennel reports:  Have to report Heather’s & my time at the Diva Night.  We had a great time!  FOOD GALORE including Chocolate, peanut butter bars!  YUM!   Good talks, learned lots and a few laughs:)  Heather & I both won a water bottle and Heather won some fancy new shoelaces and I won a fancy light that clips on my cap for evening runs!  So we didn’t make out too bad!!!
Jennel.  Tony & I are off to Las Vegas on Monday, so no reports from me next week!  Take care:)
