On Saturday morning Kevin, Edie, Liane, Hazra, Rod, Flora, Larry, Len and Miriam with Jax, and Alex and Angela met at Flora and Ross’s house and walked mostly around the perimeter trail at Mundy Park in Coquitlam. Although it rained throughout our walk, the tree canopy of the park helped quite a bit to reduce the rain’s impact on us and the trail. We walked about 6 km in a time of about 1h15. Flora, Alex, and Angela walked a slightly shorter distance.
Afterwards, the group celebrated Edie’s birthday with coffee and cake at Flora and Ross’s house. it was a great way to brighten everyone’s spirits! (Photos of the gathering have already been distributed – thank you Flora and Len.) Thank you Flora and Ross for hosting the gang!
