Monday’s run:
RA Edie plus canine April, Sherian and Bobtoc ran from the Centre on a rainless, relatively mild evening.  The trio ran short, only to Underhill and Broadway and return.  Time 48:26, distance not measured.

Meanwhile, back in Paradise, Rod climbed Diamond Head….. I am not whining.

Wednesday:  Four Cruisers showed up Wednesday at the Centre on a rainless mild evening.  Tracy popped in to say hello, then returned home.  She said she is running weekends, no doubt VERY early in the am. Larry was the lone walker.  His route was from the Centre to Eastlake and Underhill and return.  Runners Alex and Bobtoc ran east toward Como Lake.  After crossing North Road, at the Burquitlam Funeral place,  their run started on Ebert Ave continuing to Fairview St, north onto Foster Ave, then east to Gatensbury immediately to the east of Como Lake, north on Gatensbury to Como Lake Ave , south on Robinson Street to Acaccia , Appian Way, west to Whiting St then through a right of way back to North Road and from there back to the Centre.  Time 1:21, distance 8.6 km. The route was a variation of our usual Como Lake destination route;  one that was well-lit, on quiet residential streets except for Como Lake Avenue, well worth using again.
A correction:
Larry emailed me re: a huge error I made in my previous email describing the Wednesday night trek to Como Lake and return.  Contrary to what was said in my previous email, the facts are that Larry walked with Alex and the undersigned from the Centre to North Road, crossed to the east side at the Burquitlam Funeral Home, then continued on Eberts, then Foster Ave, eastward to Como Lake St  before turning back for the return walk to the Centre.  My apologies to Larry.  Ahh, absent-mindedness? It’s not so bad.  Sometimes I have new friends every morning…   Just kidding.
A foggy run in Rocky Point was still a beautiful one!
Seven Cruisers turned out at Rocky Point Saturday on a foggy, clammy morning for running and/walking.  RA Edie, Sherian and Bobtoc ran to the Ioco former refinery gates via the usual trail onto Alderside St to April Road, continuing west to the gates and return, distance ll.7 km, time 1:47.  Walkers/runners Christina, Larry, Laura and late entry Flora went along the same route to April Road only before returning to the Point; distance approx 9.5, time 1:41.  Sunshine broke out mid-morning.  Several other runners were present along Alderside in training for the BMO Vancouver Marathon.  Six of the Cruisrers debriefed over coffee, tea or scones at a neat coffee shop in the Klahanee townhouse area on the south side of Murray St.
