Three Cruisers and two pups came out on a cool, clear night. Laura, Laurie and Edie ran to the corner of Eastlake and Underhill, a short but fast run of about 35 minutes. Sadie got ahead of April who ran to catch up to her with Laura and Edie trying to keep up to April. A lovely evening for a run. We missed our fellow Cruisers though.

Nine Cruisers met at and ran from the Centre Wednesday on a cool, dry, starlit evening. Tracy, Laura, Sherian, Larry, Rachel, Flora, Bobtoc, Libby and Edie together with Edie’s two dogs headed west to Forest Grove Drive via the Gaglardi pedestrian overpass. Libby and Edie opted to return via Underhill to Broadway, while the other seven continued north on Underhill to Shellmont, to Meadowood to Greystone, Broadway Underhill, Eastlake etc. to the Centre. Time out, 1:10 to 1:14, distance for the seven approx 8.5 km.

Saturday Feb 18:
Three runners met and ran from the Centre Saturday on a cold, wet morning. Flora, Larry and Laura ran to the crosswalk to the golf course on Arden and returned to Timmy’s. They then joined Minnesota Rachel at Tim Horton’s for something warm and Rachel drove them back to Cameron.

Fort Langley Historic Half runs Sunday Feb 19:
Six Cruisers plus a running buddy of Libby ran from the Fort Sunday on an overcast and cool morn

ing, with just a hint of light rain as the runs started but did not co
ntinue, allowing the runs to be unimpeded by rain. The routes for all the runs changed this year, still starting and ending in the Fort itself, but the new routes kept away from the business area and residential areas, staying closer to the animal protection farm and roads in that vicinity, all runs having a turnouround well away from the Fort towncentre.
