Monday’s run report courtesy of RA Edie:

Well, I wore my dress Santa hat and our leader was a no show. Rumor has it that he was at sea on the weekend and was suffering from boat lag, feeling “light” headed and “strung” out. Meanwhile, back at the centre, Laura, Renee, Rod, Shiraz and Edie ran on a clear, moonlit night to the corner of Meadowood and Arden. 7k in about an hour. Plan A was to do the Forest Grove Loop but when we encountered some icy patches near Sears, we put Plan B in action. Oh, we can think on our feet when it comes to making decisions.
Ed. note: Edie is right! Leaderbobtoc was in the deck, pooped from putting up strings of Xmas lights on the home’s front. Life is good anyway.

Eight runners/walkers turned up Wednesday on an almost balmy, clear evening. René, Tracy, Rod , Chris, Libby, Bobtoc and walkers Larry and Susan Vedoc headed west to Beaverbrook, the Gaglardi pedestrian overpass to Forest Grove Drive west to Underhill, north to Shellmont. Rene, Tracy, Rod and Chris ran to Greystone from Shellmont to return to the Centre, having caught up with Larry and Susan on Beaverbrook, shortly after which Tracy headed home. René and Chris pushed on to Cameron, finishing 8.7 km in about 58 min. Libby and Bobtoc chose to turn in at Meadowood to see the Christmas lights, stayed in the subdivision , turning back to Arden from Woodhurst and continued their 8.5 run to the Centre, their time 1.25; a leisurely run to be sure.with lots of discussion. .

Saturday’s run/walk report including information from Chris Keeling:

Eight Cruisers and four canines showed up on a frigid -2C morning. The dozen set foot to Joe’s Trail , a route would provide decent footing. Chris reported:

René, Norman, and I, with Norman’s dogs pulling ahead, made it into Hume Park and 1/2 way around the dog park at the top of the hill. Time 1:02 and distance 10 km on my GPS. Cheers, Chris.

Runners Larry, Rachel and Flora went to North Road and return, met walkers Edie and her dogs plus Bobtoc on Joe’s Trail and all four returned to the Centre, time for the runners estimated at 1:05, and for the walkers, 1:15.
