You know you’re a runner when……
Monday: Ten runners/walkers met at the Centre Monday on a balmy evening. Runners Tracy, Larry, Norman, Sharon, Carla, Alex and Bobtoc used the Gaglardi pedestrian overpass to run north and west onto Forest Grove Drive to Shellmont via Underhill, south to from Shellmont to Meadowood into the residential area, then east to Broadway, Underhill, Eastlake to return to Cameron Centre in three groups, times varying from 52 minutes to 62 minutes. Walker/runners Flora, Rachel and Ross went as far as Underhill on Eastlake from the Centre, 50 minutes return.
Eight Cruisers ran or walked Wednesday from the Centre: Adele and Tracy walked for an hour commencing at 5:30, great to see them. Adele had not been out for a while; both are always a treat. Runners Rod, RA Edie, Rene’,Shiraz, Alex and Sharon ran the Forest Grove route using Eastlake, Underhill, east on Forest Grove Drive, over the Gaglardi overpass and you know the rest. All eight experienced a no precip but cold evening despite what the thermometer said. Bobtoc started the run but ceased early on with a sore knee. He had run/walked 30 minutes in the am with the Sun Run Clinic at Burnaby Lake in any event.
