Monday: We dreamt of Maui while we ran in the rain tonight. It poured all day so we were lucky the rain had let up to showers by run time. Alex, Sherian, Rene, Edie and April ran Forest Grove Loop in about 54 minutes. The time out would have been shorter if the three others hadn’t been so nice to wait for the Rear Admiral, especially on the way there. I managed to pick up the pace on the last half. Everyone dispersed quickly – Sherian said she had to get home to the bachelors…….
I think Rod ran during the day today. We are all proud of Bob for completing the 15k and bringing home bling for 2nd place in his age group. Way to go!

The days are getting longer now, soon it will be light when we run.

Wednesday: Wednesday: Five Cruisers left Cameron Centre at about 6:40 PM and ran to our favourite hill – or not- Underhill, went up 3 Xs at various speeds and returned to the Centre via Forest Grove. Libby, Sherian, Rene, Rod and Edie completed 8.25ks in 1:08 under clear skies and mild temperature. While stretching and straining the faltering fence, we thought we should utilize the new equipment to stretch in the future. A perfect night for a run.

Rod’s run on Tuesday, when the rain finally stopped:

I forgot to report in. Ran from home up through Lake City, Underhill x1, then back through Forest Grove, except I didn’t turn left to go over Galliardi, instead I carried on back to Lake City, then back past the high school and home up Noel Drive. Time out 1hr3, distance 9 km.
