Seven runners showed up Monday for a one hour outing. Tom Jung and Alex Lau, fresh from their half and full marathons respectively, walked and RA Edie, Lora, Rod, Tish and Bobtoc ran west to the Burnaby Lake north trail, out 30 minutes and return. Time was taken out to view the ducklings, catch a few rays, and figurately speaking smell the roses. The seven endured a cool to cold evening with high winds. Edie and Bob encountered Valerie who is blooming. Information for those who know her Dad is that he had a heart attack, required antioplasty in three arteries plus one stent. He’ll be fine.

Tom is sporting his “I run for beer” headband.

A true Cruiser.

Wednesday’s Run: Cruisers ready to tackle Underhill while doing the Forest Grove loop. Time out about 52 minutes for 7k. Good work, men!

Saturday run at Rocky Point with our littlest cruiser Anamaria in shades, a hat and her runners. She preferred to stay at the playground with her mommy rather than run on a lovely spring day. The rest of us ran 12 k to Ioco and back. Beautiful scenery.
