Monday: Eleven runners and walkers met at Cameron Centre, destination Joe’s Trail. Al and Lynn were joined by Adele and Tracy. The foursome covered 6 kilometres in 54 minutes. The seven runners, Edie, Gina, Val, Cheryl Conn and her friend Dee, Rod and Bobtoc ran to North Road, some to Hume Park for a water stop, and some returned via the trail north of the shopping plaza to Government Street to the park and the underpass to Erickson Drive. times between 1.00 to 1.09, distance about 6 km for Edie, Cheryl and Dee and 8k for the other keeners. The seven enjoyed moderate temperature and overcast skies.

Wednesday: Bob, Rod, Ruby, Neil, Debra, Christina & Ken ran the 20 minute challenge while Adele and Edie walked it. Adele and Edie’s destination was the DQ, where Adele enjoyed a blizzard and Edie a Moo Latte.
Saturday: Rod and Edie were sent on their way at 7:40 AM from Cameron Centre to Burnaby Lake and back by Bobtoc, who was unable to run because his pink shorts were at the cleaners. Rod and Edie did 13.5k in about 1:50. Hot and humid, but a great morning for a run.
Laurie ran Burnaby Lake as well, but we didn’t meet up with her.
Norman competed in the 10k Summerfast Run at Stanley Park.
Debra is running 20k with Christina on Sunday to train for the Victoria Marathon.
All other Cruisers were AWOL!!
