Funny how some things work sometimes. Three “veteran” Cruisers turned out for the Wednesday April 22 run only to be outnumbered by newcomers! Larry, Tracy and Libby showed up and were met by Gina, Leanne, Coraleane, Joy, Ken and Roz, Sun Run refugees. Glad to have them on board! All of them were runners, so the gang ventured out on the Stoney Creek trail to North Road for hillwork. Larry, Tracy, Libby and Gina did the North Road hill 3 times while the rest returned along the trail to the Cameron Centre. The four hillmeisters returned to Cameron Centre after as well. Distance, about 6 or 7 km, time out approx. 40 minutes for the runners and an extra 15 minutes for the hill people. Tracy and Larry did some extra trail running as well. It was chilly out…why is it cold in late April? Sheeshkabobs!
