December 31 On Saturday morning, despite the rain, Flora did her 14th Park Run 5 km at Mundy Park in a time of 43:06 in slippery and wet conditions. December 31 On Saturday morning Len, Miriam, René, Kevin, and Larry walked from Cameron Centre along the trail between Eastlake and Government St., Cariboo Road, and Joe’s trail to North Road, and returned the same way. Saturday morning saw Rod, Susan, Larry, Alex, René, and Ivan with his pup Lulu, who’s grown quite a bit in the last few weeks and is just as energetic as ever, walk along Joe’s trail, stopping a few times along the way to look for the spawning coho salmon.  We saw quite a few along various points of the Brunette River.  The spawning season is just starting up so we …

August 31, 2020 On Monday 6:30 p.m. Alex, Edie, Kevin, Larry, Rene, Rod, Susan and Bobtoc walked to and from the  Stoney Creek trail.  Edie and Rene ran 5.5 km in the same time as the others walked the 4 km return, being 55 minutes.  Rod came in a bit earlier than the others.  The group enjoyed the dry weather and comfortable temperature.
