Week of February 6th
Rod, Edie, Bobtoc’n’Harvey met and ran from the Centre Monday on a moonlit, starlit evening, the best night of the year. The group ran/walked west to Underhill via Eastlake, north to Forest Grove Drive, to the pedestrian overpass to return to the Centre; time and distance 1:02 and 7 km. Monday: Two cruisers, Rene and Rod braved the +5 conditions to do the 7km Forest Grove in 48 minutes. The Maui people declined to run in such cold conditions even though they did come out to see us at the beginning, along with a welcome visit from Adele. On Monday evening seven Cruisers met at Cameron Centre, Val went to a fitness class, Bob came to see us off and the rest of us went for a run.
