Seven Cruisers welcomed Anita, a good friend and business partner of our Gina Spanos, for our Monday 6:30 run. Adele, RA Edie and Larry walked 7.5 km using the familiar route Eastlake, Underhill, Forest Grove Drive, the Gaglardi overpass and the Beaverbrooks, returning to the Centre, time 1:20. Sharon and Christina share the Olympic Spirit. Silver medalist from Germany for the women’s skeleton. RA Edie, Tish, Larry and Bobtoc opted to walk Monday evening. Sharon and Carla take up a new sport! Ten Cruisers met at the Centre Monday at 6:30. Runners Tish, Lora, Chris Morley and Sayeeda ran up Forest Grove from the Beaverbrooks via the pedestrian overpass to Underhill, down Shellmont, into the Forest Hills subdivision to check on our future clubhouse, through an easement onto Broadway then return to the Centre, time 55 minutes and distance about 9 km.
