Royal Victoria Marathon: Words to describe the event’s organization, routes, the beauty of the city, the weather, can only be superlatives. The weather Friday and Saturday was gorgeous; warm, sunny, +5C at start of the races beginning at 6:30 through to 8:30. RA Edie, Larry and Laurie joined 10,000 other runners and walks Sunday morning for the 5 k CIBC Run for the Cure, ending at BC Place. Monday: Four Cruisers: Carla, Rod, Tish and Bobtoc did not run due to technical difficulties. The four therefore used alternate Plan T for debriefing, trauma counselling utilizing Timmie’s coffee in various forms depending upon the individual malady, and sustenance in the form of cookies or doughnuts to replace electrolytes.
