Seven Cruisers met at the Burnaby Lake parking lot at 8.00 Saturday on a cloudless morning, destined to be a hot one. Seven Cruisers met at the Burnaby North Secondary School track Wednesday 6.30ish on a very warm evening. Al and Lynn walked 5.2 and 5.6 km respectively, time 57 minutes for Lynn, a bit less for Al. On Monday May 11 four Cruisers turned up at the Centre. Carla, Gina, Rod and Bobtec ran to Joe’s trail, continued through to Hume Park, hen along the road up the hill past the dog run area and the lacrosse box; distance 9.3 km, time out, 1.06. The four also enjoyed perfect weather; warm, breeze from the west, partially cloudy skies, best night of the year.
