July 2018 Confederation Centre to New Brighton Park On Canada Day, Larry, Susan, Edie and Edie’s friends from her walking group, Marguerite, June, Maureen, Greg and others, along with three dogs, walked the Trans Canada trail from Eton just west of Willingdon, under the Second Narrows bridge and onwards to New Brighton Park, distance about 10 km, time about 2 hours.  Most of the group then went to Café Artigiano’s on Hastings St. for some refreshments.  …

May 2018 Everything is just ducky! May 2 2018:  Laura, Edie with canine April, Rod , Larry and Bobtoc walked Wednesday evening to Joe’s Trail via Cameron St, to Government St. the Cariboo train crossing then east to Joe’s Trail, and at 2 km turned back to the Cameron Centre.  Total distance, 4 km, time 1:05.23.  The group enjoyed temperature of about +15 C, some cloud cover, no sign of rain.  May 5 2018:  Flora, …

March 2018 March 3 2018: Libby Covernton, now residing on the Sunshine Coast, delighted the Cruisers Saturday morning at the Centre by her appearance to run/walk with us.  She joined Rene, Ivan, Larry, Susan, Rod, Alex, Leslie, Miriam and Bobtoc.  The route proposed by Bobtoc in his previous email to go east into Coquitlam was nixed due to lingering snow and some ice on the routes there, so the group moved west to utilize Joe’s Trail.  …
