Happy New Year, Cruisers! January 1st:  Edie and April walked the Resolution Run in Port Coquitlam – 5k in 50 minutes. Perfect weather for walking and beautiful scenery along the PoCo Trail. December 3rd: Rachel, Flora, Rod and Edie did the Forest Grove loop on Wednesday night.  Our time was 1:30 for 7+k.  We had to watch for ice but it wasn’t too bad and it was a lovely night.  We didn’t see any cougars of the human or 4 legged ilk so it was all good! November 3rd:  On Monday night, Rod reported that he braved the monsoon rain and swam up through Eastlake, Underhill, Forest Grove and back to Cameron.  Time out 57mins.  Distance 7.5 km. Sept. 1st:  On Monday, Labour Day, Alex and Angela, RA Edie with canine April, Larry, a welcome surprise being Val, and Bobtoc met early Monday and tackled the Coquitlam Crunch.  The six enjoyed perfect weather: cooler temperature, some cloud but no precip, almost the best day of the year, as well as few people on the Crunch at 8:00 am.  The six walked the route.  The Crunch trail is much improved since last visit due …

Dog days of summer! August 2nd: Alex, Larry, Laura, Rod and Bobtoc ran/walked Saturday at Rocky Point at 7:30 Saturday on a day that promised to be a sizzler. RA Edie and Nancy met the group before they set out for their run.  Edie looks great! Canada Day – Soet Style: We did it again, on Canada Day, Miriam, Debra Colvin and I hiked the whole 48 km Baden Powell trail from Horseshoe bay to Deep Cove.
