Under the direction of Alex he and Bobtoc ran early Monday morning from the Deer Lake Sperling Avenue parking lot west and south on the trail leading to the West Deer Lake Trail, continuing west to the Sussex trail, returning along Moscrop, crossing Royal Oak Avenue at Deer Lake Parkway, hung a right to enter the trail north of the lake and continued back to the beach at Sperling Avenue. Week of July 29th

Monday’s run, solo, by Laura.  Here is her report: Hi, Bob!  I ran on my own!  Left Cameron Centre at 6:40 pm, ran up to the top of Cameron, along Ebert, then Foster, to Como Lake.  Tripped on a root on the path leading into Como Lake, fell flat-out, dusted myself off, went once around the lake, back down Foster, Ebert, Cameron, arriving at the Centre at 7:50 pm.  Was a nice night for a run, not too …

Monday’s run turned out to be a long walk, occasioned by the very hot weather. Edie, Laura, Rod and Bobtoc ran west to Government Street to Brighton Avenue, then into the walk mode to Government Road, Phillips Avenue, Chutter,Chrisdale, Kraft Crescent, a park, the Lougheed Highway near which the four encountered a police speed trap, partially manned by the New Westminster Police service,can’t figure that one out,  then onto Production Way, Enterprise St past the …

Four Cruisers turned out Monday:  RA Edie, Laura, Rod and Bobtoc due to the hot weather opted to walk the Stoney Creek trail to North Road and return, time 54.10, distance approx 3.5 km. Week of July 2nd

Minnesota Rachel was a no show Monday at 8:00 am.  Alex, Laura and Bobtoc ran to the Burnaby Lake north trail to the nature house and returned to the Centre.  Time 1:04, distance approximately 7 k.  The three experienced very minor showers and a temperature ideal for our short run. Week of June 25th

Four Cruisers, Edie , Debra, Laura and Bobtoc, plus Edie’s two gorgeous dogs, walked from the Centre and were delighted to see that Damien brought his Mom Val and Dad Rich to the Stoney Creek trail near its entrance on Beaverbrook Wednesday.  Damien was riding a no pedal, no crank small two wheeler, Damien-powered by feet pushing against the ground.  Mom and Dad kept up to him with no problem.  What a kid; a smile on his face all …
