Six Cruisers ran Monday on a no precip evening. R A Edie, Laura, Leo Liu, Rachel, Rod and Bobtoc ran the usual route to Shellmont, up the hill to Underhill, east on Forest Grove Drive to the pedestrian overpass to the Beaverbrooks back to the Centre. Monday’s run: RA Edie, Flora, Laura, Rachel and Bobtoc warmly welcomed Stormin’ Norman back to the fold Monday on a cold, damp evening. Norman, about two weeks after his operation at Eagle Ridge Hospital, joined the five who ran/walked using the Stoney Creek path to North Road, Chapman Avenue, east to Robinson Avenue, south to Ebert Avenue, then west crossing North Road into the Sullivan Heights subdivision then back to the Centre. Daylight Saving Time gave Tracy Monday evening the opportunity to lead Laura, Leo, Flora, Edie with April and Bobtoc onto the Stoney Creek trail for the first time in 2012. The route was to North Road, north to Chapman Avenue, east to Robinson, continuing south to Ebert Avenue, then west back to the Centre. Time out, 55 minutes, distance 7.5 km. Week of March 5th

Five runners turned out Monday evening. Edie, Laura, Leo Liu, Rod (returned from Florida and Jamaica) and Bobtoc ran west, facing a stiff and cold wind. Since Bobtoc ran 19 k Saturday, Edie 16 k Sunday, Laura returned after several days due to a bad cold and Rod had not run for two weeks, the five ran only to Broadway and Underhill. Monday: Two cruisers, Rene and Rod braved the +5 conditions to do the 7km Forest Grove in 48 minutes. The Maui people declined to run in such cold conditions even though they did come out to see us at the beginning, along with a welcome visit from Adele.
