The “Peruvian Cruisers” find some new running buddies and some spectacular scenery on the trip of a life time. I wonder if those turtles run faster than me. Pets welcome at the Hilborn Hotel, Sunset from the Hilborn Hotel, Molly’s Reach Five Cruisers: RA Edie, Carla, Lora, Tracy and Bobtoc met Monday at the Centre. Edie is recovering from the ‘flu therefore walked with her two dogs. Tracy led the other three on the reverse Forest Grove Drive with a twist at Underhill where the four ran north to the lane behind the elementary school east through to Ashgrove Drive, meeting Forest Grove …

Week of March 21st

Four Cruisers: Tracy led Lora, RA Edie and Bobtoc on the reverse route to Forest Grove Drive via the pedestrian overpass, south on Underhill to Eastlake past the secondary school to Cameron Street, east to cross Bell Avenue to the Centre. Six Cruisers ran Monday evening, all moving west along our familiar winter route. Norman and Rene’ ran to IGA and return, time 55 minutes, distance 9.5 km; Alex and Bob ran only to Broadway and Underhill, time 45 minutes, distance not very; Rod and RA Edie, plus her two dogs Bella and April, walked to and returned from Eastlake near Underhill, time about 50 minutes. Monday’s run/walks: Rod reports eleve n runners/walkers met at the Centre Monday evening. Tracy, Adele and Larry walked but Rod did not know their route. Runners Rene, Norman, Sayeeda, Rachel and Lora, Sherian, Carla and Rod ran west and north on Tracy’s fave Forest Grove Drive reverse route. Five Cruisers met Saturday at the Centre on a COLD, COLD morning at 8:00, so cold that Rod did not wear shorts. The five used the route down to Government Street leading to Winston.
