Harry’s Spring Run Off

Sunday, March 8th: Seven Cruisers ran in the Harry’s Spring Run Off today in very nice weather (what happened???).  Congratulations to Ken, who won a gift certificate for his age group finish!  It was a perfect morning for a run, the scenery was great, the runners upbeat and the race well organized.   We got a hat when we crossed the finish line.  After the run, we met at the Cactus Club for lunch, then Christina, …

Next run: Wednesday Mar 18, Begorrah! a wee bit o’ hill work tomorra. Three Cruisers only: Carla, Rod and Bobtheolderchap showed up to test the waters, and I’m not kidding, by running west, getting well dampened, with Rod running to the crosswalk at Greystone and Meadowood to return, and Carla and Bob continuing to the IGA posts and return; times, 45 minutes and 1.06 respectively. Six Cruisers: Larry, Libby, Stormin’ Norman, Rodluongo, Susan and Bobtheolder chap welcomed Rick Davison of the Telus H2H group, on a rainy and cold Saturday morning.
