On Wednesday evening Brenda, Glenn, Brigitte, Judith, and Larry walked from the mall to the Stoney Creek trail through to North Road and returned the same way, meeting Norman Lum and his pup Rusty along the way. Nice to see Norman!
It was well into dusk by the time we exited the trail, so that will probably be the last evening walk on the trail this year (sob!).
Our distance was 5.5 km and time was about 1 hour.

On Monday evening Brenda, Glenn, Liane, Rod, Hazra, and Larry walked from the mall through Keswick Park, at which time Hazra and Larry returned to the mall (no injuries, just taking it easy), their distance about 2 km and time about 30 minutes, while the rest of the group continued down to Government and the Stoney Creek-Eastlake trail, Eastlake Park, and back to the mall, their distance about 5 km and time about 55 minutes.
It was cloudy but still a nice evening for a walk.

On Saturday morning Larry, Liane, René, Kevin, Len and Miriam with Jax, met at Rocky Point and walked along the paved trails and the new bridge crossing to the hatchery and returned the same way, while Liane and Miriam continued along Alderside to April Road and Ioco Road, then returned and joined the group at the ice cream shop. Eoin and Laura with Lucky also walked their own route and joined us for ice cream afterwards.
Distance for the group was about 4.5 km, and for Liane and Miriam, 10 km. Blue sky, a fine autumn day.
